Our parish hall can be rented for events such as…
“Bishop Paret Memorial Hall” has been a landmark and a cultural resource for Locust Point since 1912. Since then it has been host to many, many, dances, variety shows, bingo games, parties, educational events and more. You can be a part of the ongoing saga of this amazing place by renting it for your special event! Our spacious, air conditioned, hall comes equipped with tables and seating for up to a hundred with plenty of room left over for dancing. The hall also features a stage area.
The hall is available Monday – Friday during the day, Saturdays after 11am, and Sundays after 1pm.
The hall my be reserved by parishioners for a wedding reception up to 12-months in advance, and up to 6-months in advance by non-members. All other events may be scheduled up to three months in advance, or further out at the discretion of the clergy and vestry.
Rental costs are $75 an hour, minimum four hour rental. A cleaning deposit of $150 will be returned if facilities are left clean. Any alcoholic beverages must be served by professionally licensed and insured vendors with serving staff present for event. Setup and decoration time prior may negotiated for weddings or similar events held at the church, otherwise setup and takedown time is charged as part of the rental. Church members and non-profit community groups may receive lower rates as allowed by the vestry (church council).
